About xpressDesk

xpressDesk is built by operators who run coworking spaces themselves. We got tired of duct-taping spreadsheets, Calendly, Mailchimp, QuickBooks, and a Stripe Dashboard together to do the actual job — so we built one tool that does all of it well.

What we believe

• Members shouldn't feel the software. The best coworking experience hides the tooling entirely. Your members should book, pay, and pick up their mail without ever thinking "I'm using software" — they're just using your space.
• Operators shouldn't fight the tooling either. Every feature here exists because we hit a problem running our own space and didn't want to hit it twice.
• Bring your own Stripe. Money flows directly to your account. We never sit in the middle of your members' payments. You don't owe us a transaction cut.
• Earn it every month. We've been on the other side of an annual contract with a platform we'd outgrown, waiting out a renewal date and a retention call. So there's no lock-in here: month to month, cancel with one email, take your data with you. If we stop being worth it, you should be able to go.
• Multi-tenant from day one. Every feature lives in one codebase that serves every space on the platform — no per-customer forks, and no "enterprise edition" running different code from everyone else's.
• Ship fast, lean toward yes. We add features that benefit other spaces in days, not quarters.

Built on

xpressDesk runs on Supabase (Postgres + Auth + Realtime), Stripe Connect, and a React + Tailwind front end. Every tenant gets the same hardened multi-tenant architecture — no fragile single-tenant branches, no "enterprise edition" with different code.

Who's behind this

xpressDesk is a product of XpressBase Inc, a small team building software for verticals where the existing tools weren't good enough. It was built for — and still runs — ProDesk Space, a coworking space in downtown Fullerton, California. When something here seems oddly specific, that's why.
